We launch wine brands, and re-launch existing brands with a new offering.
Benson Marketing Group brings an experienced voice to the table. We are often hired at the conceptual stage of a new brand, or at the beginning of a re-launch, to identify how the winery will compete against 6,000 U.S. wineries and thousands of imported wines. It is a very crowded marketplace, and brands that are not significantly different will fail.
Typically these engagements are 2-3 months in length, and may include a mixture of the following services:
- Strategic Planning: Reviewing business plans, objectives and strategies, and identifying risks and opportunities.
- Brand Naming: Developing, refining, testing new brand names.
- Meeting Moderator: Guiding internal meetings and dialogue that result in superior business decisions.
- Competitive Positioning: How does a brand's quality, price and position compare and compete?
- Sustainable Advantages: Identifying a differentiated position, and 'brand personality' that allows it to stand apart.
Benson is not a sales consultancy so, typically, new brands are in the process of creating their distribution program and identifying wholesaler partners prior to engaging the agency.
