Benson Marketing Group is a leading wine marketing agency providing public relations, direct marketing and brand consulting services for wineries and wine associations from its offices in Napa Valley and New York. It is the only wine marketing agency with offices in the nation’s media capital and wine capital.

Second, the candidate will provide marketing communications services to client leads. This may include copywriting for emails and websites; project management for advertising, design and promotions projects; research; and related projects of an account coordinator, including report writing. The candidate will also play an important role in the development of the agency’s emerging use of digital media.
The candidate will play a supportive role in client teams including members of the PR and Direct Marketing staff, working on clients managed out of the agency’s Napa and New York offices. Candidates will be exposed to a wide range of domestic and international wineries and trade associations.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should not send a resume if they do not meet these criteria:
- Required: At least 2 years of wine and or food-related marketing or PR experience
(agency or in-house);
- Desire to develop professional skills —a rising star!;
- Top 5% in oral and written communications skills—strong editing skills required;
- Preference for dynamic, small business environment;
- Demonstrated creativity in previous Web 2.0 campaigns;
- Demonstrated understanding of implementing strategies and tactics;
- Literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint required, in HTML preferred.
- Valid drivers license.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
